No matter what anyone says, there is no set timeframe for grief. You don't have to get over your loss by a certain date. It may be 6 months, 1 year or 2 years before you feel your grief is less overwhelming and more bearable. It may be less, it may be more.

As you find your way forward and learn to live with your loss, your grief may change over time. When that happens is different for everyone.
