We’d like to wish all our wonderful patients and community a very happy holiday season. Thank you for your trust and support throughout the year — it truly means so much to us.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible team for their dedication and hard work, especially over the holiday period. Special thanks to Tammy for going out of her way to collect orthotics on her day off, and to Wayne for providing a home visit on a Sunday. Do you love your high heels ?

Wearing high heels and narrow toe box footwear can have a significant impact on the feet, causing various problems such as:

1) Toe deformities: Narrow toe box footwear can cause the toes to become cramped and eventually lead to deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, and claw toes.

2) Foot pain: High heels can cause pressure on the forefoot, leading to foot pain and discomfort.

3) The increased pressure on the ball of the foot can also lead to the development of neuromas, a painful condition caused by a pinched nerve.

4) Reduced stability: High heels can affect the body's center of gravity and balance, leading to instability and an increased risk of falls.

5) Achilles tendon problems: Wearing high heels regularly can shorten the Achilles tendon, making it more susceptible to injuries and causing pain in the heel and calf.

6)Ankle sprains: High heels increase the risk of ankle sprains due to the unstable nature of the footwear.
