“A time of contemplation, with work flowing like well- behaved water around a head injury dictating rest. Oh, I am mending, but after being cross at myself for a few weeks I finally shrugged, ‘What is, IS.’ That gem took time to land.
I did the doctor thing and he gave me an outline, but no detail – doctors do not have time to dawdle, and I am a detail person. So, I asked Mr/Ms Google about concussion (Google is unisex and doesn’t judge). Most interesting learning of chemical change in the brain after such events, beyond the obvious headaches, dizzy etc. I am likening it to puberty, when youth start the change from child thinking to embracing a little adult. Concussion is like a sort of adult puberty! But I have noted change, e.g., my remembering has had a refresher course via the ‘chemical shakeup’. Incidentally, everyone over 60 years does not lose the use of one’s etheric senses, even if ones physical and hearing is getting dodgy; the inner/etheric senses actually increase in efficacy as you age.
We do swallow all sorts of silly comments and old-wives-tales. Like the one connected to forgetting where one put something. I do it too, but noted my emotional body’s reaction when I get cross/tense for losing something, adrenaline increases and “Ageism” belts out, like a worn vinyl record, especially the line: ‘forgetting is an age thing, natural!’ Bu****it! Swallow that and you are manifesting brain damage. Stress is self-inflicted: a created moment when the brain goes into emergency mode, i.e. loads of adrenaline, aimed at concentrating on basic needs, when all most need to do is relax, think of something else, and allow adrenaline and one’s mind to seep back to normal mode. Then, without the stress, all sorts of everyday actions come back, or more likely, you trip over the lost object.
One client recently, told of her worry about Alzheimer’s. Seemingly her grandmother had the problem, and her mother, just before she died, ‘warned’ her daughter of having it, with the helpful addition, “it often skips a generation.” I glared at mother in Spirit and she had the grace to look shamed and apologised to daughter. That word ‘Bu****it’ came into use. Nothing like blighting daughter’s life ensuring she worried for the rest of her ‘natural’.
Do you get the feeling we are ‘at War’? Of course we are – Sensitive verses Muggle, and the ‘war’ is not necessarily between individuals … within people’s minds. I see so many people trying to stick ‘to the line’, the old way of thinking/living, (of the supposed progressions of age). Recently, I heard of two young men (not related – separate clients) in their late twenties hiding at home - feeling attacked by society. It is a lack of information problem. They are Sensitives, with large dollops of Empathy, who do not know how to ‘send back’ energies belonging to others after picking up, unwittingly, emotional/physical energy from relatives, friends, supermarkets, malls. (Empathy is part of telepathy - increasing.) They ‘hold’ onto those energies feeling unable to function as themselves, until they lose who they are. We call some ‘couch-potatoes’, but most are people with accelerated senses who have not watched Harry Potter!!! Scratch those last six words – humour is not my most endearing trait.
Of course, it is part of their experience in this incarnation, but this is also part of ‘the War’. The loss of some of our young people. Oh, a portion will surface, to a lessor or greater degree, in some way, as time wanders, but currently it is a hidden problem, often with antidepressants thrown in.
Another, not hidden, is the ‘labelling game’ – neurological syndromes shortened to first letters for ease. I know of one syndrome being worn by Sensitives being fed overly processed (contaminated) food, nothing to do with a mental lack. I have A.D.D. when I eat preservatives and other chemicals in Muggle food, e.g. commercial bread. I also have the signs of someone, ‘on the spectrum’ (lovely phrase), often means the wearer does not fit into a traditional mould. As for the phrase, ‘suspected Autism’!!! I have heard that word more this year than ever before.
Pah! Yes, I am on my soapbox, permission to tune out. What brought this on? A year of labels landing, uttered by Muggle parents, contrasting recently with a bright-eyed young woman who had been home schooled. But also confused people trying to be Muggles when they are really closet Sensitives. At times I feel like a fairy godmother who donks people on the head with a wand whilst saying, “Go forth as a Sensitive; leave the Muggle part in my rubbish-bin on the way out.” Of course, it is not that easy … we are indoctrinated with Muggle rules. It takes slow experimentation trying out ideas on ‘mind freedom’.
My problem is sticking to a blog of 700 words, and failing!”
