Did you know that within Script Sense, you can upload any patient documents?

It's as easy as taking a photo of them on your phone, and uploading them against their patient profile. This works across any device.

This also works for discharge summaries from the hospitals, and you can do it from anywhere. You don't even have to be in the pharmacy.

This is the perfect feature for home visits if you've got a key piece of information you want to capture for that patient.

We also provide a tonne of templates which pre-fill the patient's details, so the system does a lot of the work for you.

Have you ever had to hunt through a patient's history to try and figure out what they've been supplied with a few months ago?

In other packing systems, as soon as you move on to the next month, everything previously gets wiped out, which is critical because now you lose visibility of what was supplied to a patient.

If there were medication changes, for instance, medication A stops and medication B starts, or medication A was 5 times a day but now it's 3 times a day, you don't see where that change occurred.

In Script Sense, we make blister packs and sachets simple. Instead of treating them as one-off things like other software, we build a comprehensive history alongside your normal dispensing history.

You can go back in time and see what they'd been supplied. This is particularly useful for high-needs patients in retirement villages or rest homes.

Every pharmacist owner knows that cost management is critical, because claimed medicines carry a very low margin.

This is a common thing throughout the industry, but it isn't well known if you're not in a pharmacy owner's shoes.

One of the biggest cost problems is that when you dispense 90% of a bottle, you can't use the remaining 10%.

For some medicines, you're allowed to claim for wastage. Script Sense now has an auto-claiming tool for medicines that are approved for wastage claims.

We provide a suggested calculation based on the medicine information, and then, with the approval of a pharmacist and a button click, it will apply that. This means that your pharmacy never has to miss out on claiming applicable wastage, in the busy flow of dispensing.

In other systems, you may be reminded of the potential claim wastage, but once you click Escape on that pop-up, you're never going to see it again.

In Script Sense, we proactively suggest the claimable wastage on applicable items. If you dismiss it, it keeps coming back when it's relevant, so you don't miss out on future claims.

All around the country, server hardware is becoming more expensive.

The chip technology inside your server has doubled in cost, and so have the fees to transport parts to New Zealand. So you might be up for a hefty bill when you're replacing your next server.

On average, a server is being replaced twice a week at a pharmacy around the country. Each of these servers costs thousands of dollars.

Effortlessly remind your patients when their next prescription is due, and be notified live in the app when they've responded.

We've improved how we do automated repeat reminders for texting your patients.

Now, as well as being able to do date-based reminders, you can do reminders based on a proportion of the amount of supply that's been used up.

For instance, if 80% of the previous supply has been used, our system will trigger a message to that patient to let them know that they're due for a new pickup. Think of it like a low-stock warning.
