🩷September 23rd 1030am in Hokitika we have End of Life Doula Association member Sarah Simpson-Campbell from Sanctuary NZ End of Life Doula coming to give a presentation on what a Death Doula is all about. 💛

Sarah will be presenting to the medical teams in Greymouth on the 22nd and we are lucky enough to secure a morning with her for our community on Wednesday 23rd September 1030am @ Kiwi Holiday Park Hokitika in their TV Room 160 Davie St Hokitika.
Parking is not to be outside the park, please drive in and follow the instructions for parking.🚗

A huge THANK YOU to the team at the holiday park for doing this for no cost. That is very generous in these times and as a free event we are extremely grateful. 🥰

Please share this post far and wide we do not want anyone to miss out on this important education.
Death and dying is effecting us all and support is hard to come by.
Be prepared for your family, friends and neighbor's. Be available to help rather than be frightened of one's chapter closing.
Have knowledge and confidence to make others feel loved and supported during their end to their journey. 📖 🏞

This presentation will go for approximately 45mins to an hour followed by open discussion and morning tea kindly donated from our silent heros at the Hokitika Cancer Support group 💛

Lock it in your diary, ask work for some time off, better yet close work and bring everyone!

September is a very exciting month!
I have my beautiful colleague coming to the Wild West Coast to do a presentation on our beautiful Doula's.
Sarah Simpson-Campbell from Sanctuary NZ End of Life Doula also our Vice Chair at ELDAA.
A Highly regarded End of life Doula in Canterbury.

Sarah will be presenting to our medical teams on the 22nd and I have got her coming to Hokitika for a community presentation on the 23rd 👏😍
1030-1130am, venue to be decided once we have a idea of numbers.
This is a free event for everybody.

Sarah has presented all over Aotearoa so do not miss out on having an hour with one of the most kindest humans. 😇
