Increasing Prescribing Lengths

From early 2026, the Government are allowing extension of certain prescription durations from three to twelve months.
PLEASE NOTE
This will NOT apply to all medications and conditions. Eligibility is still at your GP's discretion and will depend on factors such as the nature of your long-term condition and your individual suitability for certain therapies.
We are here to assist you towards optimal health and our Clinicians are all committed to prescribe medicines on an individual basis in order to achieve this.
Feel free to discuss this Government proposal with either your GP or a nurse at your next visit.
