Growth begins the moment we stop blaming, avoiding or pretending.
Owning your stuff isn’t about carrying shame.
It’s about taking responsibility for your choices, your healing, your reactions and the direction of your life.
Accepting reality doesn’t mean you have to like what happened. It means acknowledging what is, instead of exhausting yourself fighting what was.
The truth is:
🌿 What happened, happened.
🌿 What was said, was said.
🌿 What you did, you did.
🌿 What others chose, they chose.
From that place of honesty comes freedom.
When we stop arguing with reality, we can focus our energy on what comes next.
We can make amends, learn lessons, set boundaries, heal old wounds, and choose a different path.
Owning your stuff is strength.
Accepting reality is wisdom.
Together, they create transformation.
Māori kupu:
“Whakaae ki te pono. Ka tīmata te whakaora i reira.”
(Accept the truth. Healing begins there.)
“Ehara te toa i te tangata kāore e hinga, engari ko te tangata ka tū anō.”
(Strength is not never falling, but rising again.)
