My client's horses compete across a range of disciplines; dressage, show jumping, eventing, endurance, pleasure. One of my horses has chronic asthma and with the onset of the pollen season, I thought I’d share these articles. I manage my mare’s condition with a steroid injection, regular veterinary testing, steamed hay and an airy walk-in covered shelter. In the past she’s had steroid inhalers, but these aren’t a great long term option.
