Strokes don’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it’s a quiet slur, a dropped mug, or a blank look that comes and goes.

Don’t wait to “see if it passes.” Brain cells are on a clock.

Use the FAST check the moment something feels off:

🧠 Face — Ask them to smile. One side droops?
💪 Arms — Raise both arms. One drifts down?
🗣 Speech — Say “The sky is blue.” Slurred or wrong words?
⏱ Time — Note the exact time symptoms started or they were last normal.

If any answer is yes:
• Call 911 immediately — don’t drive yourself.
• Keep them seated and calm; watch breathing.
• No food, drink, or pills (especially not aspirin) unless directed by EMS.
• Loosen tight clothing; gather meds list and ID.
• If symptoms resolve, still get evaluated — TIAs are warnings.

You’re not diagnosing. You’re buying brain time.

Small, fast actions in the first minutes can change the rest of someone’s life.

Be ready before it happens.
