Pre-dawn karakia to waerea our whare this morning to best protect ourselves and those who come into our space. A protective incantation or spiritual chant used to clear a path and guarantee safety - we literally woke the neighborhood and acknowledged the whare for all it will become for us. Traditionally recited to remove spiritual obstacles, placate unfavorable energies, and shield people, our tira ecspecially from potential harm. Kysha Runga-Woodhead Jules Dinsdale Te Kaha

Kaputi & paku parakuihi to whakanoa & settle the Mauri than it was straight into the mahi.
