THE BLACK SUN — SOL NIGER 🌑

What if our relationship with the Sun goes deeper than the light we see?

In alchemical tradition, the Black Sun — Sol Niger — represents the hidden, interior solar principle: darkness not as something negative, but as the fertile space from which transformation and new life emerge.

It connects symbolically to Nigredo, the alchemical stage of blackening and dissolution — the return to the unformed before something new takes shape.

Within the SOL framework, we associate the Black Sun with the womb space: the darkness of gestation, creation and unlimited potential.

The visible Sun illuminates, warms and regulates the rhythms of life. The Black Sun represents the inward movement — the unseen space of potential beneath manifestation.

Nature contains both.

The seed grows in darkness before reaching the Sun.

Neither needs to be overcome.
Both belong to the cycle.

Light and darkness are not the destination. Wholeness contains them both.

Dragons favour purity within the vessel.

A pure heart of gold.
Pure intention.
Aligned action.

The less distortion within your energetic field, the clearer the pathway for the divine to flow through you. As your field becomes clearer, dragon energy reveals itself—not because you have done more, but because you have removed what was obscuring it.
