In te ao Māori, the Waikākā was a treasured food source, carefully gathered at the right times of year. Its migration from the sea into the rivers symbolises movement, transition, and survival through change. Though small and often unseen, the Waikākā reminds us that persistence and adaptation bring sustenance and strength.

At Beyond the Veil Oracle, my readings are always led by Oracle cards.

I work with a variety of sacred oracle decks — Māori Oracle, Starseed Oracle, Ancient Stones, Moonology, Divine Door, and more. Each carries its own wisdom and voice, guiding the messages that come through.

Other cards, such as Tarot or angel cards, are sometimes woven in, but only as clarifiers. Oracle is always the doorway, the first voice, the sacred lead.

This is what makes my readings unique — every message flows from Oracle first, ensuring clear, intuitive, and spirit-led guidance.

🌕✨ Full Moon Ritual Reflections – Reigniting the Sacred Flame ✨🌕

As the full moon in Scorpio illuminated the night, I sat in ceremony — releasing years of ancient pain, rejection, trauma, and abuse. I burned purple and green candles, calling in healing, wealth, and spiritual strength.

The purple flames were fierce, blackening the tops of the glass jars — a powerful sign that deep energetic blockages were rising to be cleared.

The green candles burned clean, quietly supporting my intentions for health, growth, and abundance.

Today, I’ve cleansed the jars with warm salt water, reignited the flames, and the energy is alive again.
🕯️ The purple candles still burn strong.
🕯️ The green flames are calm and steady — grounded in peace.

I’ve burned white sage, sprinkled sacred water across the altar, the window sill, and the space where the candles rest. I spoke my Aroha, Mana, and Rerehua karakia with intention and love.

This is not just about fire or flame — this is the spirit moving through grief into grace.
I honour the old, but I no longer carry it.
I choose freedom, health, abundance, and light.
