What you don’t usually see before everyone arrives for contrast are the kids and I at the track.
To be honest, I wrestle with a lot of guilt building this business while raising little humans. The guilt that I should be home more at night. The guilt that my mind is often on a hundred things at once. The guilt that they have to come with me to set up before their dad finishes work and picks them up.
Some evenings I wonder if I’m getting the balance wrong.
But then I watch them.
The made up dances.
The important little jobs.
The games they come up with when they are “bored”.
The running around outside instead of staring at a screen.
And I realise they do see Mum working - and maybe that’s the point.
They see a mum doing something she genuinely loves.
Something she is passionate about.
Something she chose to build.
Maybe one of the greatest things we can show our kids is that it’s okay to dream, to create, to work hard for something meaningful, and that you really can choose a path that lights you up.
The Wellness Club is being built with them beside me. It’s messy and amazing all at the same time.
PS - listen to the end - I found a video of my youngest secretly filming herself in the car, so I had to overlay her voice onto the reel.
Did she convince you? 🥹🤍
