In New Zealand, Hypnotherapy is unregulated. This means our Professional and Registered members CHOOSE to follow a code of ethics and conduct, they choose to have a police check and insurance, they choose to do supervision and the choose to keep upskilling.
They don't need to, they choose it.

If you are wanting to find a hypnotherapist, choose one who is willing to put clients safety at the top and is always working on being the best they can be.

📋 The Hypnosis New Zealand Supervision Standard:
→ 6 sessions per year — Group Supervision
→ 6 sessions per year — Individual Supervision (one-to-one with a certified supervisor)
→ Supervisor must hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance
→ Supervisor must adhere to a recognised code of ethics
