After cooking for 25 boys at the marae last week for 4 days at the tournament I thought it would be cruisey this week 😅 😅

So many orders came thru last week which have all been packed and out on the courier 🚐🚐

When I went to check the cafe on Monday, Casez shelf needed restocking. All restocked this morning 🙏🙏

We all know what its like when we take days off work and it always takes a good few days to catch up 👌👌

The website decided to have a moment earlier tonight so spent a few hours fixing that 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Case has returned to school yesterday after helping at his uncle's tangi on Monday. I think he brought home every piece of clothing from school cos the washing was just phenomenal 🤣🤣🤣

Tonight Ive been packing up my car as I get ready to head to Gisborne in the morning to be with my whānau after the passing of our cousin 😭😭😭

As usual all orders received will be packed on my return 🙌🙌

Hurricanes U15 tournament 2026, four days, twenty teams, 50 games & what a experience for out Hato Paora boys 🙏🙏

They came up against some big schools in their division some of the best teams in the country & for HPC this was a huge achievement & opportunity for them to be there & give those big schools a good go.

Highlight of the trip watching 20 teams being powhiri into St Patrick's auditorium then later that night attend the teams dinner at the Upper Hutt Cosy club the logistics was mind blowing but so well organised.

So proud of our boys & the way they carried themselves & represented our kura.

I was proud to be cheering for you all on the sideline 📢📢🤭🤭

Massive mihi out to our coaches, manager, sponsors & parents who came along to help, none of this would of been possible without you all, it really was team work, makes the dream work 🙌🙌

To our Wellington whānau who turned up everyday to tautoko our boys I appreciate you all ❤️❤️

Case played an outstanding tournament alongside his brothers taking away the MVP Hurricanes U15 jersey & a chance to be apart of the U17s Whanganui Maori Rugby team.

Some 16th birthday spam ✨️

Newest learner license holder & very happy to complete his license in 8 minutes with 1 wrong answer 🙌🙌

He didnt want to do anything in particular after I picked him up yday just happy to chill at the motel with munchies, watching the Warriors & study up for his license this morning.

I dropped Case back off at school & continued heading south staying in Shannon with whānau tonight.

Tomorrow I'll meet Case & the rest of the HPC team in Wellington as they journey down to compete in the 4 day Hurricanes rugby tournament starting on Wednesday, talk about exciting 🙌🙌🙌

Lots going on the last few days.

The cafe is stocked with Fathers Day Giftboxes, a few custom made giftboxes going down that I cant show just yet & a special little giftbox going out on the courier.

Throw in celebrating 4 days of birthdays in a row, catching up on work before I take annual leave next week, trying to get rid of this flu.......again 🙄🙄

Mums away my god I have to do my own washing and house work to 🤭🤭

I tell you Im doing it hard this week whanau 🤣🤣🤣

Win of the day though buying a size 10 pair of Wrangler slim fit jeans at the op shop for $3 and being able to fit my thighs in them 💃💃

When I pulled up the driveway from Auckland yesterday morning mum was pulling out on her way up to Auckland.

Ive pretty much been busy since walking in the door filling orders, making product, getting father's day giftboxes ready for the cafe & catching up on paperwork from the week.

Im away again next week, heading down to Wellington to support ours boys playing in the Hurricanes rugby tournament so try get your orders in this week whānau 🙌🙌

Time to catch up on some Netflix and chase this lil bit of a flu away 🥴🥴🥴

Having a lie in this morning ✨️✨️

Casez has been really busy the last few weeks thank you to everyone who continually support our small business we really appreciate it 🙌🙌

Case has been home this weekend & Ive been very lucky to be able to spend yesterday with him.

Not doing anything in particular just hanging out at home, catching up on life, napping & eating some good kai 🙏🙏

When I picked Case up on Friday he was fizzing to let me know that they are heading to the Hurricanes 4 day rugby tournament in Wellington in a few weeks.

The boys have had such a good run in their local competition so it's really awesome to see them get a opportunity like this to get amongst other schools & eyes, exciting 🙏🙏

Today Case will head back to school, and i'll head to Auckland for work. This morning the cafe will be restocked so if your local & need anything this week please head to the cafe otherwise any orders received will be packed up on Sunday ready for the courier next Monday.

The fit check nobody asked for cos your waiting for the 10 kg weight loss before buying new clothes 🤭

- belt on its last notch 🥴🥴
- jeans are literally held up by the belt at this stage 🤣🤣
- top is tucked in and belted up to cos its far to big now 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Bouncing between 75-77 kgs this week due to water & lifting heavier the last few weeks but Im happy with whats reflecting back in the mirror.

- legs are 🔥🔥
- upper body definition 👌👌
- neck looking like a giraffes 🤣🤣

What Ive learnt so far:
- Just start. Theres so much information out there, ignor the noise pick & choose what works for you.
- Its not the 1 hour in the gym that matters it really is what you do with the other 23 that matters.
- Meal prep is the biggest flex here. Having kai readily available will be your savior 🙏
- muscle is the key to longevity

Numbers for the week:
- 16 days til spring
- 117 days til summer
- 76 days of eating in a calorie deficit
- 96 days no drinking (think I might have a party at 100 🤭🤭)
- started at 83 kgs

Keep stacking days, banking workouts, eating good (not perfect) & getting in those 7-8 hours sleep.

It will all be worth it 🫡🫡
