On Friday, I had the opportunity to join 20 other massage therapists and physiotherapists in an ACE Functional Cupping course.
This course allowed me to explore an additional technique to enhance my skill set. By integrating cupping therapy with myofascial release techniques, I can apply slow, deep pressure to stimulate the Ruffini nerve endings.

Transitioning from passive treatment (static holds) to active treatment (from unloaded to loaded physical movement while using the cups) can facilitate changes in functional movement patterns.

I look forward to returning to work, feeling refreshed and eager to try out these new techniques. 🌼

Due to a health issue, the studio will be closed from Monday, July 6th, until Friday, August 28th. However, if all goes well, I plan to reopen for light relaxation, pregnancy, and oncology work starting Monday, August 17th.
