Most of us have spent our lives searching for love in other people — partners, friends, family, even strangers online. But what if the love you've been looking for was never missing? What if it was yours the whole time?

In this episode, I share a speech I gave about the moment I stopped outsourcing my light to everyone around me — and what I found when I finally looked inward. Through the metaphor of a lantern, I explore what it really means to carry your own love: not as a self-help slogan, but as a lived reckoning with years of giving everything away and wondering why the dark kept coming back.
