Te Rangapū Whakaora- Te Whare Haoura.. is truly a collective effort🥰 A weaving together of our strengths, our innate wisdom. A remembering of what once was..Whānau supporting whānau, communities gathering to share space, kai, laughter, tears, healing, and connection.
It is a space grounded in manaakitanga and kotahitanga..inclusive of everyone.
My hope is that this becomes a place where you can simply BE. A place where you can feel free to weave your taonga into the space or just come to receive, whether that's through Mirimiri, connecting with Rongoā Māori in a way that feels new, or simply sharing space with others. Whatever you experience, I hope you leave with something that continues to nourish you long after you've gone.
Yesterday, I want to acknowledge every single person who came through the whare at Te Wakaiti ..our tangata, kai mirimiri, friends, whānau. Everyone arrived with their own reason for being there. Maybe it was curiosity??? Or maybe a need for healing, or to simply connect...or maybe you found space to give in a way that felt equally nourishing for you.
Whatever brought you through our doors, thank you e te whānau. To everyone who contributed in any way..we couldn't do this without you.
What a beautiful day it was. My heart is full.
Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa. ❤️
