🌿When Your Body Says "Enough"
I've always been a nature -first person, so X-Zone NZ has lived in my natural medicine cupboard for a while.

Lately, my shoulder, neck and upper left-side have been so tight that sleeping hurt and turning my head became a reason to get checked!

A health check was the reminder I needed to recalibrate and bring my healthy habits back into focus. Alongside those changes, I've been using X-Zone NZ (Supercharged Herbal) Sports Rub daily, and it's helped ease the tension and make life a whole lot more comfortable.

It's powered by nature, with 12 quality ingredients, including traditional New Zealand healing plants Harakeke, Kumarahou, Kōwhai, Pukatea and Pūriri.

Jessica and the X-Zone team are life-long friends, so supporting them as an affiliate is easy. I only ever recommend products I genuinely use and believe in.

Kia ora, I'm Sharon, the person behind Pathways to Wellbeing. 🌿

Warmth with backbone, plain language, and lived experience as much as training. That's what I bring to every workshop, retreat and conversation.

My new website is live, and it feels like me. Come say hi: www.pathwaystowellbeing.co.nz

There's no single door into this work, so the new site has three. 🚪

🌿 Workplaces: build a team that knows what to do when a colleague is struggling

🌿 Communities & whānau: practical, culturally grounded training for the people already doing the mahi

🌿 Individuals: get accredited, or simply be ready for the people in your life

The confidence to recognise the early signs can change a conversation, and sometimes a life.

That's why I love delivering Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa training. It's about equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to notice, respond, and support others with care.

Thank you, Ange Tepania and the team at Te Tai Tokerau Emergency Housing, for trusting me to work alongside your kaimahi and for sharing your experience.

If you'd like to bring Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa training to your workplace or organisation, I'd love to hear from you.

Kia ora whānau, big news! 🌿

My new website is live: www.pathwaystowellbeing.co.nz

It's the new home for everything I do in Mental Health First Aid training for workplaces, communities and whānau, wellbeing retreats, 1:1 guidance, and my new journal, Quiet Notes.

Go and have a look around, and if your workplace or community has been thinking about MHFA training, this is a lovely place to start the conversation.

Learn. Grow. Evolve. 💛

April & May delivered meaningful Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa Training - feeling really grateful for the support around this mahi.

Huge thanks to Whangarei District Council for partnering with Pathways to Well-being to train frontline staff. Powerful, practical cohorts, and we’re heading straight into another WDC group in June.

To Whangarei Care Centre, thank you for backing your people during a tough time, sad to see the closure of your much needed services.

Big shoutout to my friends at XZone NZ, Āwhina Ora, Nudi Point, First Light Natural Health, & Golden Turmeric for supporting our well-being packs - it means a lot.

Honestly, it’s been refreshing to step away from desk work and be back in front of people. ❣️

This work matters. Mental Health First Aid is as important as medical first aid.

I’ll be facilitating an introduction session at CEW on Saturday 20 June / get in touch if you’re keen.

Grateful. Energised. Ready for June.

Whangārei’s best‑kept secret is sitting just off the city fringes, Āwhina Ora.

Close to Kensington Hub, easy to get to, and honestly - you deserve what happens in that space.

There’s something sacred about lying down for a treatment and having karakia offered over your body start to finish. It’s grounding. It’s real. It’s one of the pathways to wellbeing that can shape you, and it’s one I stand behind.

The team at Āwhina Ora open their doors on the last Friday of every month for community connection days.

If you’ve been thinking about it, go!
Get in touch with the beautiful humans at Āwhina Ora today. For your Body, Mind, Spirit.
