The Department of Health โ Malinao Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOHโMTRC), through the Supervising Health Program Office and the Training Unit, successfully conducted the "Guardians of Recovery: Safety and Security Training in Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation" for selected MTRC staff. The four-day training enhanced the participants' knowledge and competencies in maintaining a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment through sessions on Foundations of Safety in Drug Rehabilitation, Risk Prevention and Crisis Management, Emergency Response and Safety Protocols, and Staff Safety, Teamwork, and Sustainability. Through lectures, workshops, and collaborative discussions, participants strengthened their preparedness to respond effectively to various situations while upholding quality care, workplace safety, and security.
DOHโMTRC extends its sincere appreciation to the Resource PersonsโSupervising Health Program Officer Shaira Marise Aรฑonuevo, Health Program Officers Vonn Andro Macinas, Neolan Aรฑonuevo, and Devorah Jessa Jane Ll. Diaz, and Nurse John Roger D. Bandolaโfor generously sharing their expertise and guiding the participants throughout the training. Special thanks are likewise extended to Ms. Verna Chavenia for serving as the Master of Ceremonies and helping facilitate the successful conduct of the activity.
