“Christian ka pa naman, bakit may anxiety ka?”
“Hindi ka ba nagpe-pray?”
“Akala ko ba malakas faith mo?”
“Bakit ka nag-ooverthink kung nagtitiwala ka naman kay God?”
Maybe some Christians have heard words like these before.
And honestly, minsan mas lalong mabigat kapag feeling mo hindi ka allowed mahirapan emotionally just because believer ka.
But the truth is, Christians still struggle too. 🤍
We still overthink.
We still get tired.
We still cry quietly at night.
We still battle fear, pressure, and anxious thoughts sometimes.
Having anxiety does not automatically mean your faith is fake.
Faith is not the absence of fear.
Sometimes faith is simply continuing to trust God while fighting battles inside your mind.
There are days we pray and still feel overwhelmed.
Days we worship while carrying silent burdens.
Days we read the Bible while trying to calm anxious thoughts.
And that does not make you less loved by God.
Even people in the Bible experienced fear, exhaustion, discouragement, and emotional struggles too.
But one thing I love about God is this:
He is patient with struggling hearts.
God is not waiting for you to become emotionally perfect before He stays near to you.
So if you are in an anxious season right now, please remember:
You are not weak.
You are not failing.
And you are not alone.
God still understands tired minds and heavy hearts. 🤍
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
