Ang Baliuag District Hospital – Public Health Unit (BDH-PHU) ay taos-pusong nagbibigay-pugay at pasasalamat sa lahat ng ating mga nurses na patuloy na nagsisilbi nang may dedikasyon, malasakit, at puso. 💙

Sa bawat pag-aalaga, paggabay, at serbisyong inyong ibinibigay, kayo ay nagiging mahalagang bahagi ng paghubog ng isang malusog na komunidad at matatag na bansa. Ang inyong sakripisyo, sipag, at pagmamahal sa propesyon ay tunay na inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino.

Ngayong Nurses Week, kinikilala natin hindi lamang ang inyong kahusayan sa pangangalaga sa mga pasyente, kundi pati ang inyong mahalagang papel sa health promotion, disease prevention, at pagpapanatili ng kalusugan ng ating mga komunidad.

This Newborn Screening Week 2026, the Baliuag District Hospital – Public Health Unit proudly joins the nationwide campaign in promoting the importance of Newborn Screening (NBS).

🩸 A simple heel-prick test can help detect certain conditions that may not be visible at birth but can affect a baby’s growth and development. Early detection means early intervention—and a better chance for every child to grow healthy and strong. 💙

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 To all parents and families: Make newborn screening a part of your baby’s first steps toward a healthier future. Ask your healthcare provider about NBS and have your baby screened as recommended.

🐾💙 BALIK-TANAW | WORLD RABIES DAY 2026 💚🐶

Balikan natin ang mga makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng World Rabies Day sa Baliuag District Hospital Animal Bite Treatment Center! 🐕🐈

Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing naglalayong palawakin ang kaalaman tungkol sa rabies, patuloy nating isinusulong ang responsableng pag-aalaga ng mga alagang hayop, pagpapabakuna, at agarang pagpapakonsulta kapag nakagat o nakalmot ng hayop.

Sama-sama tayong kumilos para sa isang ligtas at rabies-free na komunidad! 💙

🐾 WORLD RABIES DAY 2026 🐾
“Rabies: Act Now. Stay Protected.”

Today, we join the global community in raising awareness about rabies—a deadly but 100% preventable disease.

The Baliuag District Hospital – Public Health Unit reminds everyone:

🐶 Have your dogs and cats vaccinated against rabies.
🐕 Keep pets properly supervised and avoid letting them roam freely.
🧼 If bitten or scratched by an animal, wash the wound immediately with soap and running water for 15 minutes.
🏥 Seek medical attention promptly at an Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) or health facility.
🚫 Do not apply home remedies or traditional substances to bite wounds.

Prevention starts with responsible pet ownership and immediate action after an animal bite.

Let’s work together toward a rabies-free community! 💙🐾

🦠 ISANG PAALALA MULA SA BDH-Infection Prevention and Control Committee

Ang pag-iwas sa impeksiyon ay responsibilidad nating lahat. Sa simpleng pagsunod sa tamang Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices, makatutulong tayo na mapanatiling ligtas ang ating ospital.

Huwag kalimutang panatilihin ang wastong hand hygiene, pagsusuot ng angkop na PPE, respiratory etiquette, at iba pang infection prevention measures upang makatulong sa pag-iwas sa pagkalat ng impeksiyon.

💙 Maging maingat. Maging responsable. Maging bahagi ng ligtas na healthcare environment.

💜 National Breastfeeding Month & National Family Planning Month Celebration 💜

Noong ika-28 ng Agosto, sama-sama nating ipinagdiwang ang National Breastfeeding Month at National Family Planning Month—isang makabuluhang paggunita sa kahalagahan ng wastong nutrisyon, breastfeeding, at responsableng pagpaplano ng pamilya. 🤱👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Sa pamamagitan ng tamang kaalaman at access sa health services, sama-sama nating itaguyod ang malusog na ina, malusog na sanggol, at mas matatag na pamilya. 💜
