🌱 Strengthening Social and Behavior Change for Better Nutrition!

On September 3, 2026, Ms. Liezl Sarmiento, UNICEF SBC Consultant for Visayas, conducted a field visit to our municipality to provide support and gather valuable insights on the implementation of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) activities under the Philippine Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP).

As part of the field visit, Ms. Sarmiento conducted an interview with an IPS member who is also a Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) to learn about their experiences, practices, and involvement in the implementation of SBC activities at the community level.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share experiences, identify challenges, and gather recommendations to further strengthen SBC initiatives and nutrition interventions in the community. 💚🤝

Nahunong ang pagpasuso sulod sa pipila ka adlaw, semana, o bulan? Ayaw kawala og paglaum, Nanay! Mamahimo pa gihapon nga makabalik sa pagpasuso pinaagi sa relactation! 🤱💛

Ang relactation usa ka proseso diin gipabaskog balik ang panglawas ni Nanay aron makamugna balik og breastmilk. Nanginahanglan kini og igong panahon, kugi, ug paggiya gikan sa mga health worker. 👶🏥

Hinumdumi: Ang pagpasuso kay tikang alang sa mas himsog nga pagsugod ni baby.
