The BKD organization attended the Youth Summit held at the multipurpose court in Mahatao, Batanes, on February 15, 2025 to raise awareness among the youth about the harmful effects of Illegal Drugs and to aim to promote a safer and drug-free community.

Ngayong buwan ng Pebrero, ating ipinagdiriwang ang National Cancer Awareness Month at World Cancer Day, na may temang "United by Unique". 🎀

Sa ating laban kontra kanser, magkaisa tayo sa layuning makapagbigay ng suporta at tulong sa mga taong apektado ng kanser dahil Bawat Buhay Mahalaga.

🔍 Mahalaga ang early detection. Gawing routine ang pagpapa-cancer screening.
🚭💖 Simulan ang healthy living sa pamamagitan ng TED: tamang pagkain, ehersisyo, at disiplina.
💡 Practice safe s*x upang makaiwas sa HPV at iba pang STI.
🩺 Kumonsulta sa inyong healthcare workers para sa tamang impormasyon tungkol sa kanser.

BKD Officers 👮‍♂️ will take the initiative to spread awareness all around the campus about the harmful effects of smoking 🚭. Our goal is to create a smoke-free campus where everyone can enjoy a healthier and more vibrant environment. 🍃

18th of October 2024, our school hosted an impactful advocacy campaign for the Grade 7 learners, focusing on 3 key health issues affecting today’s youth, the activity is in partnership with the health section of the Division Office:

🧠 Mental Health
👶 Adolescent Reproductive Health focusing on Teenage Pregnancy
🚭 Smoking, Va**ng, and Drug Prevention

The event featured expert lecturers are:

- Grent Dale Calosa, Nurse II SDO (Mental Health)
- Karen Baldomar, Nurse II SDO (Adolescent Reproductive Health)
- Raiza Bastillo, Nurse II School Nurse (National Drug Education Program)

The activity aims to address learners with unmet health needs, deal with emerging health needs, and develop health-seeking behavior with regards to Adolescent Reproductive Health, Mental Health and the National Drug Education program. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to raise awareness and promote healthy decision-making among students. 💡
