We are proud to announce that Biri District Hospital has been officially designated as a Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Treatment Hub through the Department of Health Department Circular No. 2026-0065.

With this designation, Biri District Hospital is now recognized as one of the HIV Treatment Hubs in the Philippines and one of the four (4) HIV Treatment Hubs in the Province of Northern Samar.

This milestone strengthens our commitment to providing accessible, confidential, and compassionate HIV care and treatment services to our community and nearby areas.

In a celebration of unity, purpose, and public service, the Biri District Hospital family came together for a meaningful Team Building event at the scenic shores of Magasang Beach. Over the course of several days, our dedicated staff engaged in fun, collaborative activities designed to strengthen bonds and renew our shared commitment to healthcare.

💬 The event opened with heartfelt speeches from our office heads, each reflecting on the power of public service and the unwavering dedication to patient care. Their words reminded us why we serve—and why we continue to grow together.

🎉 Facilitators Mr. Eduardo O. Sabangan, Jr. and Ms. Christina G. Ortego brought energy and joy to every moment, guiding us through games and challenges that sparked laughter, teamwork, and camaraderie from day one to the final hour.

🖐️ One of the most symbolic moments was the thumbprint canvas—each mark representing our personal pledge to deliver healthcare with compassion, excellence, and care. It now stands as a visual testament to our collective promise.
