13/13 𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐀𝐬 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃!

The MaHFA Project proudly congratulates the 13 Undergraduate Thesis Student Assistants (UTSAs) for successfully defending their theses.

From muddy field days to lab hours and late-night writing, every bit of effort has paid off. This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable guidance and support of the Thesis Advisers, as well as the Panel Members, Project Members, and Research Assistants.

As the first batch of UTSAs, their research on biodiversity and habitat analysis contributes valuable insights for the conservation of Agusan Marsh.

Centered on the theme “Field to Cloud: The Future of Open Access Conservation,” the congress brought together students, researchers, and institutions to strengthen the use of digital biodiversity data in supporting evidence-based conservation and collaborative research initiatives.

The team also visited the amphibian and reptile reference collections at the Biodiversity Informatics and Research Center of FSUU, helping strengthen collaboration in biodiversity documentation and research.

Through engagements such as this, the MaHFA and SWEAM2Health Projects continue to support initiatives that advance biodiversity information sharing and research collaboration across the region.
