MANUAL VACUUM ASPIRATION

This is a procedure using a portable device called MVA (Manual vacuum aspirator) intended to evacuate failed pregnancy or abortion, miscarriage intervention, and sampling for endometrial biopsy.
This is a safe, cost effective, fewer risk of complication, faster than the traditional D&C (dilatation and curettage). The sterile tube or cannula of different sizes is connected to the pre pressurized vacuum syringe. This handheld power suction can evacuate uterine content faster especially in cases of missed abortion, early fetal demise with unfavorable cervix.

Masayang masaya kami dahil matapos ang dalawang sunod na miscarriage sa edad na 39 ay maluwalhating naipanganak ni momsh G ang kanyang 2.8kg healthy baby boy. Nakisama ang kanyang pre existing hypertension on medication para maitaguyod ang pagbuntis hanggang sa kabuwanan.
Yun nga lang, medyo sad kami dahil mamimiss namin ang palaging freshly cooked ulam pasalubong kada check up niya from their family's catering services. Ang sasarap!!! 😆😆😆😆

PREGNANT WITHOUT A BABY

This is a legitimate pregnancy resulting from formation of a fertilized egg with chromosomal abnormality or poor egg cell/sperm quality. The gestational sac grows bigger but the embryo does not appear.
Early diagnosis include weak pregnancy test positivity (faint PT positive), ultrasound pregnancy age is behind the last normal menstruation, brownish spotting to minimal vaginal bleeding with or without lower abdomen cramps and series of transV ultrasound reaching an empty mean sac diameter (length, height and width) of at least 25mm is highly suggestive of pregnancy failure called ANEMBRYONIC PREGNANCY.
Treatment varies from expectant wait and see situation to medical, to minor surgical procedure called Dilatation Curettage, manual vacuum/suction aspiration under anesthesia. The ultimate goal is to evacuate or remove early pregnancy loss.

TWO DECADES & NINE
