The participants, the patients who have Antiphospholipid syndrome (pregnant) are one of my source of strength to be able to finish this arduous study, a qualitative study. Dalawampung taon na tayong nagkakaisa upang palawakin ang kaalaman, magbigay ng tamang edukasyon, at itaguyod ang kalusugan ng bawat Pilipinong may allergy.

Patuloy nating itaguyod ang isang ligtas at maalam na komunidad para sa lahat.

6.27.26. 🙏🏻❤️ Finally done on the Build up phase (once weekly for 4 weeks for this brand preparation) in a House dust mite Immunotherapy in a 12-yr-old boy who had Allergic Rhinitis and Bronchial Asthma (and also happened to have Chronic Urticaria). On to the maintenance phase by next month (once a month for 3-5 yrs). ☺️

Allergen Immunotherapy is still the only disease-modifying therapy in Allergic Rhinitis and Bronchial Asthma. Studies have shown that those who have Allergic Rhinitis treated with Allergen Immunotherapy were less likely to develop Bronchial Asthma; and for those patients who already have Bronchial Asthma and treated with immunotherapy were noted to have reduced symptoms, reduced airway hyperresponsiveness, reduced medication use, and hence better quality of life. Studies show that its effect lasted even after allergen immunotherapy has been discontinued already (after completing 3-5 years of Maintenance phase).
