A joint statement by the Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) and the Philippine Society of Adolescent Medicine Specialists (PSAMS) addressing recent incidents of school violence in the Philippines.

School violence should not be viewed solely as a law enforcement issue, but also as a public health and child protection concern. It calls for evidence-based prevention, early intervention, mental health support, and coordinated efforts from all sectors of society to protect Filipino children and adolescents. πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ

To my Dear patients,

Unfortunately, my previous page account Miguel Pediatric and Medical Clinic was permanently disabled after it was mistakenly flagged for violating Facebook’s Community Standards. As a pediatrician, I occasionally receive messages and clinical photographs from parents seeking medical advice for their children. While I believe these were legitimate medical communications, my appeal was unsuccessful and no further review is available.

At this point, I have no choice but to move forward.

This is now my new official page account. I would greatly appreciate it if you could add me here and, if possible, help spread the word to those who may be trying to reach me.
