Next Saturday na! I am looking forward to do this!!!!

Dear Beautiful Ladies
🌸This Is Your Invitation to Heal 🌸
Over the past months, I've noticed something that has deeply touched my heart. More and more women are quietly carrying the weight of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and emotional exhaustion. Many are smiling on the outside while silently struggling within.
Seeing this has led me to reopen my Self-Care 101: "It's Not What's Wrong With You, It's What Happened to You" - a Psychotherapy Weekend Retreat.
This isn't just another retreat—it's a safe, compassionate space where you can pause, reflect, heal, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we'll gently explore the experiences that shaped you, understand your emotional patterns, and begin a journey toward greater peace, resilience, and self-compassion.
The greatest inspiration for reopening this retreat has been the incredible women who have come before you. Their stories of courage and transformation continue to inspire me. Many have found freedom from the grip of anxiety, depression, and unresolved trauma. They've rediscovered hope, confidence, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck, or simply longing for a place where you can feel seen, heard, and supported, this retreat was created with you in mind.
đź’– You don't have to carry everything on your own.
đź’– Healing is possible.
đź’– You deserve the same love and care you so freely give to others.

Come join us for a weekend dedicated to your healing, growth, and well-being.
✨ Your healing journey can begin with one courageous step. We'd be honored to walk alongside you.
Message me today to learn more or reserve your place. Spaces are limited to ensure a deeply personal and supportive experience.

🧠 Trapped by Being the Most Responsible One
By Dr. Jiji Harner
You may be carrying invisible burdens that started in childhood. You probably grow up as the responsible one. The helper. The peacemaker. The one everyone relied on.
If you've ever wondered:
• Why do I feel responsible for everyone?
• Why do I feel guilty when I rest?
• Why is it so hard to ask for help?
• Why am I always exhausted?
You may have learned to carry responsibilities that were never yours to bear.
đź’ˇ The truth is:
There is a difference between caring for people and carrying
people.
🧭 Ask yourself:
Am I helping someone grow, or am I taking responsibility for
something that belongs to them?

🛑 Remember:
• You are responsible to people, not for people.
• Boundaries are not selfish.
• Rest is not laziness.
• Asking for help is not weakness.
• Your needs matter too.
🌱 Choose healthier steps:
• Separate caring from over-carrying.
• Say "no" without guilt.
• Let others carry their own responsibilities.
• Build relationships based on mutual support.

✝️ Here is God’s Invitation:
Give your burden to God. He never asked us to carry burdens that belong to Him. "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7
Healing often begins when we put down burdens that were never ours to carry and remember that our worth comes from who we are—not just from what we do for others. ❤️

Walking on Eggshells in Relationship? -By Dr. Jiji Harner

Dear Friends,
Many people silently carry a kind of emotional exhaustion that builds over time—until it becomes anxiety, panic, resentment, or burnout. It often shows up in relationships where you deeply care about someone but constantly feel uncertain, responsible for their emotions, or afraid of their reactions.
You may recognize yourself here if you’ve ever thought:
• Why am I always anxious around them?
• Why do I feel guilty when I say no?
• Why does every conversation feel like I’m walking on eggshells?
• Why am I so emotionally drained?

This often happens in relationships where love is present—but emotional safety, boundaries, or accountability are not balanced. Over time, many caring people begin to:
• Monitor tone, mood, and reactions carefully
• Avoid certain topics just to keep peace
• Rehearse conversations before speaking
• Take responsibility for other people’s emotions
• Feel guilty for having boundaries
This is not a weakness. It’s the nervous system adapting to emotional unpredictability.
đź’ˇ A difficult truth:
Love alone does not fix unhealthy patterns. And protecting someone from consequences is not the same as helping them grow. Healthy relationships require both connection and accountability.
🧭 A simple guiding question:
Is what I’m doing helping this relationship become healthier—or just helping avoid conflict?
🛑 Gentle reminders:
• Boundaries are not punishment; they are protection
• Discomfort is not the same as doing something wrong
• You are not responsible for managing someone else’s emotions
• Saying “no” does not make you unloving
🌱 Healthier steps forward:
1. Separate love from enabling
2. Set clear boundaries without guilt
3. Pause before reacting
4. Stop measuring your worth by someone else’s mood
5. Rebuild connection beyond conflict
6. Care for your own emotional well-being
✝️ Inviting God in Our Struggles:
We can love, support, encourage, and pray for others—but we are not meant to carry what only God can carry. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
“Do not fear, for I am with you…” Isaiah 41:10
You are not called to be someone’s savior—only to love faithfully, live wisely, and trust God with what is beyond your control. Healthy love is not about losing yourself to keep peace. It is about staying grounded while still caring deeply.

Feels Like a Prison Guard in Relationship? When Loving Someone Slowly Changes You - By Dr. Jiji Harner

Sometimes the change happens so slowly that you don't even notice it. You check more. You worry more. You monitor moods before speaking. You replay conversations in your mind. You find yourself questioning things you never used to question.

Then one day you wonder:
Why am I becoming so controlling?
Why am I always anxious?
Why can't I just trust anymore?

THERE IS HELP AVAILABLE:
When you are ready for a session with me
Just send me a personal message on Messenger Jiji Harner

Often, this isn't because you're a bad partner. It's because your mind and body have been adapting to chronic uncertainty, broken trust, repeated disappointments, or emotional pain.

Instead of asking:
👉 "What's wrong with me?"
Try asking:
👉 "What has my nervous system been trying to protect me from?"

The goal is to become healthy enough to recognize what is and is not within your control.

A healthier path forward:
✔️ Stop monitoring and start observing
✔️ Separate your responsibilities from theirs
✔️ Identify the fear beneath the anger
✔️ Challenge catastrophic thinking
✔️ Reconnect with your values
✔️ Restore your identity outside the relationship
✔️ Seek safe and supportive connections

Remember:
• Stop chasing.
• Stop controlling.
• Start observing.
• Start clarifying.
• Start reconnecting with yourself.

Healing begins when you stop asking, how do I make them change? Start asking, how do I become healthy again?

Tired from Caring? A Practical Reset for When You Feel "Off"
By Dr. Jiji Harner

If you're a healthcare worker, counselor, social worker, teacher, parent, first responder, or someone who spends their life caring for others, this is for you.
Sometimes the signs aren't obvious. You become more irritable. You overthink small things. You withdraw. You procrastinate. You feel emotionally exhausted and wonder, "Why am I so drained?"
Often, this isn't weakness—it's your mind and body telling you that you need attention too. Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?" try asking:
👉 "Where am I right now—emotionally, mentally, and relationally?"
The first step toward healing isn't fixing everything. It's becoming present to what's real.

A simple reset:
✔️ Name what you're feeling
✔️ Calm your body before solving the problem
✔️ Reach out instead of isolating
✔️ Take one small step forward
✔️ Challenge toxic self-talk
✔️ Practice presence, not perfection

Remember:
• Stop hiding.
• Be present.
• Be honest.
• Reconnect.
Growth isn't about never falling. It's about returning to what is true each time you drift. And when life feels overwhelming, Scripture offers a gentle invitation:
"Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10) Sometimes stillness is not giving up. It's where restoration begins.

To Our Medical Doctors and Healthcare Professionals of the Philippines,
I am deeply honored to serve the men and women I consider the true heroes of our nation—our medical doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and allied health professionals. Every day, you carry responsibilities that most people never fully see. You show up for your patients despite exhaustion. You answer calls at all hours. You make difficult decisions. You carry the weight of critical cases, life-changing diagnoses, and the hopes of countless families. You stand on the frontlines of healing, often sacrificing your own comfort, time, and well-being in service of others. Yet while you are tirelessly caring for everyone else, many of you rarely have the opportunity to care for yourselves.

The truth is that many healthcare professionals are struggling quietly. Beneath the white coat, many carry burdens that few people recognize. Some are emotionally exhausted. Some battle anxiety every day. Some are carrying grief, burnout, compassion fatigue, or overwhelming stress. Some are questioning themselves despite years of training and dedication. Some are even wondering whether they can continue in the profession they once loved.
Healthcare professionals are not immune to life's challenges. You balance patient care, family responsibilities, financial pressures, personal needs, and the emotional demands of your profession. Too often, your sacrifices go unnoticed.
Having studied and practiced in New York, my family and I chose to return to the Philippines because we believe this country remains a place where meaningful impact can be made. We believe the lives we touch here matter. We believe that those who dedicate their lives to caring for others deserve care, support, and appreciation as well.
Today, it is my privilege to extend my mental health services to our medical community. My mission is simple: to provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space where healthcare professionals can prioritize their own well-being without judgment—a space where they can process stress, anxiety, burnout, emotional fatigue, grief, life transitions, and the unique challenges that come with caring for others. Because taking care of yourself is not a sign of weakness. It is an act of wisdom. It is an act of courage. It is stewardship of your calling and of the very instrument of healing God uses for those who come under your care. And it is essential to sustaining a life and career dedicated to healing others.
To every doctor, nurse, therapist, technician, and healthcare professional throughout the Philippines: thank you. Your sacrifices matter. Your dedication matters. Your well-being matters. We appreciate you choosing a profession that requires years of study, countless sacrifices, and a heart committed to serving others. Thank you for answering God's call to heal, comfort, and care for those entrusted to you. And if you are carrying burdens in silence, please know that you do not have to carry them alone. Support is available. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of strength. You spend your life caring for others. Allow someone to care for you, too.

Some of what you’re carrying did not begin with you.

In my work—as someone who walks with people through trauma, faith, and healing—I’ve seen this truth again and again: trauma patterns travel through generations in the form of anxiety, addiction, depression, poverty, broken relationships, insecurity, anger, and even ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) these are not always isolated struggles. They can be inherited environments, learned survival responses, even wounds etched into the nervous system over time.

Blaming the cause will not stop your struggles. It’s about understanding and taking personal responsibility to stop the continuing cycle of abuse or trauma.

Yes - you did not choose the home/school/environment you were raised. You did not choose the emotional climate, the silence, the criticism, the instability, or the pain that shaped you. You did not choose the expectations that were handed to you, the anxiety that lives in your body, or the shame you felt inside you - the quiet belief that you are somehow “less than.”

But here is the tension we must hold with honesty and compassion: while you are not responsible for where it began, you are responsible for how healing unfolds in you.

And that’s not easy.

Join us in our up coming Self-Care 101: Psychotherapy Weekend Retreat. Let’s walk this journey of healing together. Here is the Registration Form for EHW Self-Care 101: What Happened to You Not What's Wrong with You - A Psychotherapy Weekend https://forms.gle/MQJJbiPfCW5fktXv8

Because willpower alone is often not enough. If it were, you would have been free by now. Healing requires something deeper than effort—it requires truth, support, renewal, and, for those who believe, spiritual intervention.

This is where faith speaks powerfully.

The message of Jesus is not denial of pain—it is deliverance from it. It is the declaration that what bound generations does not have to define you. That cycles can be interrupted. That what was passed down can, in fact, be broken. You can start the change in you.

Freedom, in this sense, is both a gift and a process.

When you receive that truth—deeply, not just intellectually—you begin to step out of survival and into restoration. The weight of inherited shame loosens. The patterns lose their authority. The internal narrative begins to change.

What once felt permanent becomes something you can confront, grieve, and release.

And this is the promise: what has oppressed you does not get the final word. What you see in front of you today—the fear, the pain, the limitation—does not have to follow you into your future.

Healing is possible.
Freedom is real.
And you do not have to fight this alone.
