Here’s what we’re up to this August and September. 🤍

We have a few soapmaking workshops happening over the next couple of months, both in our little home studio in Cavite and elsewhere.

And if you’ve been wanting to learn but can’t make it to one of our scheduled dates, we can also do private one-on-one or group sessions, either at your place, ours, or through Zoom.

If you’re curious about the workshops or have a date in mind, just send us a message. We’ll figure it out from there.

We’ll be together live via Zoom from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, creating from the comfort of our own homes.

Some are continuing their soap-making journey, while others are just beginning. Either way, we’re looking forward to creating with you.

While I was bottling a fresh batch of our liquid soap today, my husband walked in and asked,

“Wait… is that the same soap we’ve been using in the kitchen and restroom?”

I laughed and said, “Yes! I’ve been making soap for years!” 😄

I guess seeing rows of freshly bottled soap is different from simply reaching for a bottle by the sink every day.

Sometimes, the people closest to us don’t get to see the behind-the-scenes. And when they finally do, it reminds me that what has become ordinary to me can still feel a little magical to someone else. 🤍

Olive oil and coconut oil, turned into this beautiful golden liquid soap.

I’ve been making handmade soaps for years, but I still find it fascinating how a few ingredients, with the right process and a little patience, can become something we use every day.

This is the kind of making I love here at Creator’s Nook. Quiet. Intentional. A little messy sometimes. 😅 But always made with intention.

And if you’ve been making bar soaps and have been curious about learning liquid soap making, maybe this is your sign. 🤎

Last Sunday, I met two brilliant minds. 🤎

The class was held via Zoom, and while we were miles away from each other, somehow, the warmth and heart of the people I met still felt so tangible.

This little clip was taken during our live demo. I was making soap from my end, and they were following along from theirs, asking questions, observing, creating, and learning with me in real time.

I think this is one of my favorite things about teaching. You meet people from different places, with different stories, and for a few hours, we get to share the same little creative space.

A slow, thoughtful afternoon of learning the foundations of soap making, whether you’re completely new, returning to the craft, or simply in need of a refresher.
