The Coast Guard Medical Station – Southeastern Mindanao paid a courtesy call to Davao City Central 911 as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen inter-agency coordination and foster a collaborative working relationship. The visit served as an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual cooperation in emergency response, medical support, and public safety initiatives.

Through engagements such as this, both agencies reaffirm their commitment to delivering responsive, efficient, and quality service for the safety, health, and well-being of the people of Davao City and the surrounding communities.

"CGMEDS- SEM Personnel Successfully Completes HIV Counseling and Testing Training"

The Coast Guard Medical Station Southeastern Mindanao (CGMEDS- SEM) proudly congratulates PO2 Rochelle Joy O. Orense, PCG for successfully completing the HIV Counseling and Testing Training conducted from 22–26 June 2026 at the World Palace Hotel.

The training equipped PO2 Orense with enhanced knowledge and competencies in HIV counseling and testing, strengthening the capability of CGMEDS- SEM to provide quality, client-centered, and evidence-based healthcare services in support of the Philippine Coast Guard's public health initiatives.
CGMEDS- SEM remains committed to the continuous professional development of its personnel to ensure the delivery of responsive, competent, and compassionate healthcare services to Coast Guard personnel and the communities they serve.

"HEALTHY KIDNEYS,HEALTHIER LIFE!"

It's never too late to celebrate Kidney Month!

As part of the pre-anniversary activities of Coast Guard Medical Station Southeastern Mindanao together with NSSU-SEM, the unit conducted a free bottled water distribution, blood pressure (BP) monitoring, and distribution of health education leaflets at MAEWESS and DAVSAM Port.

Through this activity, we aim to encourage everyone to take good care of their kidneys by staying well-hydrated, monitoring their blood pressure regularly, and adopting a healthy lifestyle.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Nature's Spring Maa Davao Plant for generously providing the bottled water that helped make this activity possible. Your support is greatly appreciated in promoting health and wellness within our community.

Strengthening partnerships for a healthier and drug-free workplace.

The Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao, through the Coast Guard Medical Station Southeastern Mindanao, and the Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC) Davao formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), reinforcing their shared commitment to promoting a Drug-Free Workplace and enhancing the well-being of personnel through collaborative programs and initiatives.

This partnership reflects both institutions' dedication to fostering a safe, healthy, and productive work environment in the spirit of excellence in public service.

“Maagang pag-iwas, buhay ang maliligtas.”

Bilang pakikiisa sa kampanya laban sa dengue ng DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH ngayong buwan ng HUNYO, isinusulong ang iba’t ibang aktibidad upang mapalawak ang kaalaman ng publiko at mahikayat ang komunidad na makiisa sa pag-iwas sa dengue.

Layunin ng kampanya na mapanatiling malinis ang kapaligiran at maiwasan ang pagdami ng lamok na nagdadala ng dengue. Sa pakikiisa sa Kampanya Kontra Dengue, aktibong isinusulong ng Coast Guard Medical Station Southeastern Mindanao ang kahalagahan ng kalinisan sa kapaligiran at pagsunod sa mga hakbang upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng dengue.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na makiisa sa paglilinis ng paligid, pagtanggal ng naipong tubig, at pagsunod sa “4S Kontra Dengue”(Search and Destroy, Seek early consultation, Self-protection, Support Fogging/Spraying) upang mapanatiling ligtas at malusog ang ating komunidad. Sama-sama nating labanan ang dengue para sa mas ligtas na pamayanan.
