The On-Site Training on the Management of Animal Bite and Rabies Exposure for Physicians and Nurses was successfully conducted on June 9–11, 2026 in Dumaguete City.

This three-day training provided healthcare professionals with updated knowledge and competencies in the assessment, management, and prevention of animal bite and rabies exposure cases, in accordance with current guidelines and best practices. The activity also served as a platform for strengthening collaboration among healthcare providers in delivering quality, timely, and evidence-based rabies prevention and control services.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants, resource persons, facilitators, and partner institutions for their invaluable contributions to the success of this training. Through continued capacity-building and commitment to excellence, we advance our collective goal of protecting communities and achieving a rabies-free future.
