The Community Pickleball Program initiated by the Municipality of Buenavista through the Buenavista Primary Care Facility I headed by Dr. Grace F. Cortez, Municipal Health Officer continues to gain momentum, with more and more Buenavistahanons coming together to enjoy the sport and embrace an active lifestyle.
What makes this initiative truly meaningful is the diversity of individuals now taking part. Students, senior citizens, teachers, municipal employees, and professionals from different fields are stepping onto the courts, proving that sports and physical activity have no age or professional boundaries.
More than simply being part of a growing sports trend, Community Pickleball is about building camaraderie, promoting sportsmanship, strengthening community engagement, and creating meaningful connections among Buenavistahanons. It provides an opportunity for people from different walks of life to come together, stay active, and enjoy a healthy and positive form of recreation.
The Buenavista Primary Care Facility I, headed by Dr. Grace F. Cortez, Municipal Health Officer, extends its heartfelt appreciation to every individual who continues to actively participate in this initiative and, most importantly, chooses health, physical activity, and well-being.
We likewise express our sincere gratitude to Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin, MD, MPH, Municipal Mayor, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members of Buenavista for their continued support and commitment to programs that promote health, wellness, and active community participation.
This is more than just a game. It is a community coming togetherโone rally, one friendship, and one healthy choice at a time.
Padayon, Buenavistahanons! Let us keep moving, keep playing, and keep choosing health.
