The Iligan Medical Society held its 37th Installation of officers, Turnover Ceremony and Induction of New members last August 8, 2026 at Iligan Go Hotel. The helm of presidency was turned over by the outgoing President, Dr. Edel Joey Reyes to the incoming President, Dr. Michael Edmundo Bibera. The affair was graced by the Philippine Medical Association National President, Dr. Luz P. Acosta-Barrierentos and Northcentral Mindanao Governor, Dr. Mohammad Al-Moqtader Adiong-Abedin who officiated the inductees including the new Board of Directors. The different Chairs and specialty officers were also inducted on that day.

The Iligan Medical Society, through the initiative of the Philippine Pediatric Society NCM and Doctors of Kids in Iligan (DOKI) in collaboration with St. Michael's College of Iligan celebrates the National Nutrition Month. The team emphasizes "Pinggang Pinoy" together with other health teaching to the students. The said activity was held last July 24, 2026, 8am to 11am, at the SMC Gym, Tibanga, Iligan City.
