On August 5, 2026, the YES-O family officially kicked off the school year with its first general meeting, welcoming both new and returning members. The meeting began with a fun mini kamustahan and icebreaker, giving everyone the chance to introduce themselves and get to know one another as the newest members of the organization.

The club adviser, Ma'am Alma Vida C. Goda, also shared the story behind YES-O, introducing the organization's history, purpose, and the values it continues to uphold. Officers then discussed the organization's daily garden responsibilities, future plans and initiatives, and ways to help create a cleaner, greener, and more environmentally conscious school community. The meeting also concluded with the election of the Grade 11 officers, who will help lead and serve the organization throughout the school year.

As a new chapter begins, may this be the start of meaningful friendships, shared experiences, and small actions that create a lasting impact. Here's to another year of learning, serving, and growing together. Welcome to the YES-O family! πŸ€—πŸ’š

Nutrition Month may have come to an end, but its message continues to remind us that healthy choices begin with the little things we do every day.

The celebration kicked off with an energizing morning exercise during the flag ceremony, led by the YES-O officers, members, and volunteers, encouraging everyone to start the day with movement and enthusiasm. During the lunch break, students gathered in their respective classrooms for the Healthy Classroom Salo-Salo, sharing nutritious meals, good conversations, and meaningful moments with their classmates.

Who would've thought that something as simple as sharing a meal could bring so many smiles? Nutrition Month reminds us that healthy living isn't just about what's on our plates, but also about the moments we share, the habits we build, and the people we grow alongside. Sometimes, the simplest celebrations leave the warmest memories.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's Nutrition Month Culminating Activity a success. Here's to making healthy choices, caring for one another, and continuing the habits we built beyond Nutrition Month. Happy Nutrition Month, STECians!πŸ’š

On June 4, 2026, the final day of Brigada Eskwela 2026, students from YES-O arrived at the Department of Agriculture alongside their adviser, Ma'am Alma Vida Goda, to receive seedlings for the school garden. This simple activity helps support the school's efforts to promote environmental awareness and hands-on learning. As the school garden continues to grow, the group continues integrating green practices into daily campus life. Meanwhile, engagement among learners grows, shaped by hands-on involvement rather than theory alone.

Later, the young plants found their place in the school garden through the efforts of the YES-O members and adviser. Not merely decorative additions to the area, they stand as quiet reminders of responsibility toward nature. Involvement in such tasks points to deeper lessons about how shared actions support a living, growing campus. What grows in soil also takes root in awareness. πŸŒΏπŸ’š

Bayanihan sa Paaralan, Kaayusan para sa Kinabukasan 🧽🫧

Brigada Eskwela is more than just cleaning classrooms and repainting walls. It represents the spirit of cooperation, or bayanihan, where students, parents, alumni, teachers, school personnel, and members of the community join forces with one common goal. Through this shared effort, our school becomes a safer, more welcoming, and more motivating place for learners.

As we prepare for a new school year, we are reminded that a positive learning environment is not only about physical preparations. It also requires people who are willing to put in effort and work together for the benefit of all learners. Whether the contribution is small or large, every act of service plays a valuable role in the school community and helps make a difference.

When it comes to helping our school grow, no contribution is too small. Together, these efforts can create meaningful change and strengthen the sense of unity and cooperation among everyone involved. By working together, we continue to nurture a learning environment where students can learn, succeed, and look forward to a brighter future. πŸ’š

🌱 As part of Brigada Eskwela 2026, YES-O invites everyone to take part in the following activities:
β€’ Spot Quest
β€’ Trash to Treasure
β€’ Plant and Soil Drive
