Heavenly Father,

We lift up Mindanao to You during this challenging time. We pray for those who are injured, grieving, displaced, or fearful. Send people who will encourage them and surround them with Your comfort, peace, and protection.

Lord, strengthen and provide wisdom to the rescue workers, medical teams, volunteers, and local leaders as they serve those in need. Grant them compassion, endurance, and safety in their efforts.

We pray for healing for the injured, provision for families who have lost their homes and livelihoods, and courage for communities as they recover and rebuild. May Your presence bring hope, may this situation bring them closer to our Lord JESUS CHRIST. In the midst of uncertainty remind every heart that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.

Protect Mindanao from further harm and unite its people in compassion, faith, and resilience. May Your grace sustain them and Your love shine through every act of kindness and service.

All these we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Las Piñas Medical Society officers oriented its new 80 members Today, 8 June 2026 via Zoom.

LPMS Executive Secretaries Dr. Rashia Villas-Cunanan and Dr. Diana Gervacio led the orientation. Outgoing LPMS President Dr. Jennifer A. De Guzman-Basas opened the orientation proper by introducing the new members to the Society. To conclude, incoming LPMS President, Dr. Anthony Joseph M. Contreras, delivered the closing remarks and extended his own warm welcome to the new members.

Las Piñas Medical Society, in collaboration with Victory Las Piñas and Perpetual Help Medical Center, successfully conducted a financial empowerment seminar entitled “The Stewardship Mindset” featuring Chinkee Tan.

The seminar provided practical financial insights and a fresh perspective on managing resources wisely. Through his engaging and relatable presentation, Chinkee Tan encouraged participants to view money not merely as something to earn and spend, but as a resource entrusted to us that should be managed with wisdom, discipline, and purpose.
