๐๏ธ SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF OVARIAN CANCER
Ovarian cancer can be difficult to detect early because its symptoms may be subtle or mistaken for common digestive or menstrual problems.
Know the signs. Listen to your body. โค๏ธ
๐ธ Persistent bloating
Feeling unusually bloated or having a swollen abdomen that doesn't go away.
๐ธ Pelvic or abdominal pain
Unexplained or persistent pain or pressure in the pelvis or abdomen.
๐ธ Changes in eating habits
Feeling full quickly, loss of appetite, or difficulty eating normal portions.
๐ธ Changes in bowel habits
New or persistent constipation or diarrhea.
๐ธ Changes in urination
Needing to urinate more often or having an urgent need to urinate.
๐ธ Unexplained fatigue
Persistent tiredness that doesn't improve with adequate rest.
๐ธ Back pain
Persistent or unexplained back pain may occur.
๐ธ Changes in menstruation or abnormal vaginal bleeding
Unexpected bleeding or other unusual menstrual changes should be evaluated.
โ ๏ธ WHEN SHOULD YOU SEE A DOCTOR?
If these symptoms are new, persistent, frequent, or unusual for you, don't simply ignore them. Many of these symptoms can have causes other than ovarian cancer, but persistent changes deserve medical evaluation.
๐๏ธ Early evaluation matters.
Don't wait until symptoms become severe. If something doesn't feel right, talk to your doctor.
