The 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 successfully conducted a 3-day “𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 & 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲; 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴” aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of healthcare professionals in providing quality maternal, newborn, and lactation care.

The training served as an opportunity for our healthcare team to 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚-𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 to ensuring safe motherhood, healthy newborns, and successful breastfeeding.

Madrid District Hospital's Nutritionist-Dietitian II, 𝐂𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐃. 𝐒𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐨𝐧, 𝐑𝐍𝐃, served as Guest Speaker during the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebration of the Municipality of Cantilan held on July 23, 2026.

Anchored on this year's theme, “𝑺𝒂 𝑷𝑷𝑨𝑵: 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒂-𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑳𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒕! 𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏, 𝑨𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒂𝒏!”, the celebration highlighted the importance of collective action in promoting adequate nutrition, healthy communities, and environmental sustainability.

The activity provided an opportunity to strengthen nutrition advocacy and emphasize the shared responsibility of different sectors in promoting the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
