🩺 Today at the OPD, I saw 7 patients — 4 of them came in with alarming symptoms: hematochezia (blood in stool), a**l pain, watery stools, and weight loss.
On digital re**al exam, I palpated a mass so tight my finger could not pass through. These patients are now scheduled for colonoscopy, with a strong concern for re**al mass, likely malignant.
👉 This highlights the importance of screening colonoscopy.
Guidelines recommend starting at 45 years old to detect colon or re**al cancer early — when it’s still treatable.
⏳ Don’t wait for symptoms. Screen now. Do not delay!
