Official representation in national and international committees to lobby for the interest of its members and of the APP as a whole;
b. Official consultation on emerging legislation and standards to influence the outcome of such regulations and ensure that emerging standards are not only scientifically supportable but also represents best practices;
c. Develop and provide training materials and ac

tivities to ensure that its members are aware of, informed and updated on new issues pertaining to science of phlebotomy;
d. To open doors in area of research which shall support the principle of continuous professional development, and
e. Subscribe to phlebotomy journals and publications from international affiliate associations.
