Is Focused Recovery a massage?

Yes, but it’s much more than that.

Massage is one of the tools I use, but it’s not the entire treatment.

Every Focused Recovery session begins with an understanding of your need for relief. From there, I choose the techniques that best suit your needs instead of following the same routine for everyone.

Your treatment may include:
• Therapeutic massage
• Myofascial release
• Dry cupping
• Heat therapy
• Stretching
• and more.

The goal isn’t just to help you feel better after your session. It is to help you move better, recover more effectively, and get back to doing what you love.

Because every body is different, every treatment should be too.

Hi, I’m Bonn.

If we’ve never met before, welcome.

I’m a certified massage therapist, a Bachelorsº on Physical Therapy student, and a lifelong learner with a deep curiosity about how the body moves, adapts, and heals.

I created Nonshowbiz Masahista because I wanted this to be about the work, not the spotlight. I believe healing doesn’t have to be complicated and healing doesn’t need to be loud.

Sometimes it begins with listening, understanding what’s really going on, and choosing the right approach for the person in front of you.

Whether I’m providing a relaxing massage through Sensorial Massage (rebranding soon) or helping someone recover from pain with Focused Recovery, my goal is always the same: to help you move better, feel better, and leave each session feeling genuinely cared for.

I’m still learning every day, through my studies, my clients, and soon, my 200HR YTT. I’ll be sharing that journey here, along with practical tips on movement, recovery, massage, and wellness.
