Did you know that rainy weather, increased humidity, damp clothing, and molds can trigger or worsen different types of eczema? But beware—not all rashes are eczema. Fungal infections like Tinea Corporis (Buni) and Tinea Pedis (Alipunga) also peak during this season and can easily be mistaken for it.

Last June 3, 2026, the Advanced Medical Dermatology Core Group of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Tondo Medical Center, successfully conducted “From Cancer Care to Chronic Inflammation: Navigating Breakthroughs and Barriers” at the Tondo Medical Center Auditorium.

The scientific program featured insightful lectures from distinguished speakers on key developments in dermatologic care:
