Nosebleeds Are More Frequent in Summer

Dry heat can irritate the nasal lining.

If a nosebleed occurs:Pinch the soft part of the nose and lean forward for 10–15 minutes.

Seek care if bleeding is prolonged or frequent.

2 selfies- start of the week surgery nung Monday sa unang photo- nakangiti pa. End of the week surgery na kakatapos lang kanina sa pangalawa. Halatang napagod sa pangalawang selfie. Hehehe.

Medyo challenging ang mga inoperahan this week. Pagtanggal ng thyroid na ang lakas dumugo at ang laki tapos kanina naman infection ng tenga na bumutas sa buto na namamagitan sa brain at tenga. Buti na lang may malambot na buto sa tenga kung saan pwedeng dumukot ng pantapal dito.

Grateful ako na so far ok mga patients natin at nagrerecover na. Kaya panay ang sabi ko sa mga patients na malaking bagay ang pagdadasal para sa safe na operasyon. Happy weekend!

Magandang umaga! Maagang surgery. Panalangin ko everytime may surgery ako na naway maging successful ito at matulungan natin ang ating mga pasyente. Masaya para sa aming mga surgeon makarinig na gumanda at guminhawa yung patients namin.

Balik tanaw post bago matapos ang taon.

Napakaswerte ko nung nakaraang taon na nabigyan ako ng opportunity makapag training abroad. Isang malaking karangalan ang makapag-rotate sa Emory. Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng mga doktor at staff na nag-guide sa akin. Napakarami kong natutunan na babaunin at ginagawa ko na sa aking pagiging Ear, Nose and Throat- Head and Neck Surgeon. Thank you, Emory Healthcare, for the wonderful experience.

Sana hindi tanggalin ni Facebook 😬 tinanggal kasi ni Facebook yung ibang photos nung nakaraan.

Gusto ko lang i-share bagong eardrum mahigit 3 months after surgery. Naoperahan si patient last May. Today sa latest follow up nagiging kahawig na yung grafted na eardrum sa original. Nabutas pa itong graft 1 month after surgery. Pinagtyagaan lang at nagsara din after 2 months. Eto na 4 months after at ok na ok na ang dating. Masaya naman si patient kaya masaya din ako.
