The 4th day of Dance Training proved to be a resounding success. The morning session was dedicated to finalizing and publishing the choreography. The evaluation segment was not only exciting but also entertaining, as it introduced a twist with a game of spin the bottle. In this game, participants were challenged with difficult questions for truth or dare.

The final performance was graced with the presence of the participants' parents, who had the opportunity to witness the showcasing of dance moves. Representatives from the parents were given the honor of presenting the certificate of appreciation to Sir Adam, who served as both coach and dance trainer.

In addition, the participants' certificates were awarded by their guardians and parents. These four days were fulfilling and satisfying, and the dedication and sacrifices made by the participants, organizers, and trainers were clearly evident.

The culmination of this training will be showcased on April 4, 2024, during the Lang-ay Street Festival, where the final dance output will be performed. The anticipation for this event is high, and we are confident that the hard work of everyone involved will shine through in the performance.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the organizer Hazel Fegcan Basco, event coordinator Rhea Awichen Manochon , Trainor Adam Lee Ngalloy, and the Board of Directors of the Mental Health DRIVE, Kick-off Mental DIVE , Jayleen S. Ladyong, Clarisse Afidchao, Dan Basco. Special thanks to SK Chair Jave Anthony Manochon and all other generous individuals who shared their blessings to make this 4-day training a success. Your contributions have been instrumental in our journey, and we couldn't have done it without your unwavering support.

May God bless you and your families abundantly for your kindness and generosity. Thank you once again for making a significant difference in our lives through your involvement in this training.

Day 3 of the dance training was a success. The participants actively engaged in the warm-up activity, practiced their routine, and embraced the opportunity to learn different styles of dance. Their energy and enthusiasm remained high throughout the day, culminating in a stellar final rehearsal. We look forward to building upon this progress in the upcoming sessions.

Keep up the great work, dancers!

March 29, 2024 marked the second day of our enriching dance training with the Mental Health Drive Advocate of Mountain Province. The participants were thoughtfully divided based on their dance preferences and were given the opportunity to learn from our approachable and supportive trainer, Kuya Adam.

The day was filled with a sense of camaraderie as each group took the initiative to help their fellow members, particularly the newcomers, to learn and master the dance steps. This cooperative effort made the day truly memorable.

However, as the day drew to a close, we were faced with a challenging situation. A heavy downpour had begun, and there were no available rides for the participants from Tocucan. But, as if by divine intervention, Kuya Dan stepped in with a solution. Thanks to his quick thinking and the grace of God, all participants were able to return home safely. This day, despite its challenges, ended on a positive note, reminding us that teamwork and resilience can overcome any obstacle๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Day 1 of Dance Training: Move, Grove, and Improve ( in partnership with Mental Health Drive Advocate of Mountain Province)

A group of eager and enthusiastic individuals gathered together, ready to embark on a journey of rhythm, movement, and self-expression. The day was set for the first dance training session, and the air was filled with anticipation and excitement.

The day started at 9:00 am with registration. The participants arrived, each bringing their own unique energy and excitement to the mix. The room buzzed with the sounds of friendly chatter and laughter, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

At 9:30 am, the opening program commenced with a heartfelt prayer led by Myra Acosta. Her words echoed through the room, setting a tone of unity and harmony. This was followed by opening remarks by Jayleen Sabling. She spoke passionately about the importance of finding ways to cope with depression and stress, highlighting the therapeutic power of dance. Instead of succumbing to negative emotions and thoughts, she encouraged everyone to dance their worries away. Her words struck a chord with everyone present, resonating with their own experiences and aspirations.

The program continued with an engaging ice-breaker session where each participant introduced themselves with a dance move before saying their names. This fun and innovative way of introductions not only broke the ice but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants. It was a beautiful sight to see everyone expressing themselves through dance and building friendships in the process.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for, the start of the training. The trainer, Sir Adam, kicked off the session with warm-up activities. He expertly guided everyone through the exercises, preparing their bodies for the vigorous dance routines to come.

The training session was a whirlwind of different dance styles, from the energetic b-boying and bebots to the graceful and intricate ethnic dance. Each style was a new challenge, a new opportunity for the participants to push their boundaries and discover their potential. The room was filled with the sounds of music and rhythmic footsteps, punctuated by laughter and words of encouragement.

As the day came to a close, the participants were left with a sense of accomplishment and anticipation. They had not only learned new dance moves but also made new friends and discovered new ways to express themselves. The training would continue the next day, and everyone was eager to continue their journey of dance and self-discovery.

and so, the first day of dance training ended on a high note, leaving everyone with a sense of excitement for what the next day would bring. It was a day of learning, growth, and most importantly, fun. After all, isn't that what dance is all about? ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ
