Going global! 🌍

Dr. Mutia proudly represented the Philippines and Philippine Spine Society as he shared his research in the Global Spine Congress 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey! 🇹🇷 🇵🇭

He was also formally awarded with the Global Spine Diploma among other international spine surgeons! 👨‍🎓

We are looking forward to more opportunities to learn and share knowledge for the benefit of all spinal patients locally and abroad! 🙏🏽

No face-to-face clinics for now.

Dr. Mutia will be training in Advanced Spinal Surgery under the Centre of Spinal Studies at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

This training would, hopefully, improve and expand the services that we may offer to our patients.

Online consultations will continue on selected Saturdays from 4 to 8 PM (PH time).

Spine surgeries for Sorsoganons by Sorsoganons!

We are grateful to have had the opportunities to help four Sorsoganon patients with spine conditions, all of which were done this month.

1) 16F with spinal cord injury from multiple spine fractures secondary to a road crash accident - underwent posterior decompression and stabilization

2 & 3) 65F and 67F with chronic lumbar pain and radiculopathy from degenerative disc disease and lumbar spondylosis that remained unresolved with months/years of non-operative management - both underwent posterior decompression and lumbar interbody fusion.

4) 39F with chronic lumbar pain and radiculopathy from significant disc bulges/slip discs - underwent two-level laminotomies and diskectomies
