Faculty members from the Office of Student Affairs and the Department of Psychology have collaborated on a newly published study in the international peer reviewed journal BMC Psychology.

The paper is titled:

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and the Career Development and Employment Services Unit (CDESU), successfully brings together graduating students, alumni, and industry partners for the Annual Job Fair at the CLSU Multi-Purpose Hall.

The activity aims to bridge the gap between future professionals and reputable employers by providing direct access to local and overseas job opportunities. It also serves as a platform for participating companies to discover skilled and future-ready CLSU graduates while allowing students and alumni to explore various career paths and understand current industry demands.

Several companies from the agriculture, finance, food service, education, manpower, and corporate sectors participated in the event, including RDF Feed, Livestock & Foods Inc., Philchema, Inc., Easy Bio Philippines, Biostadt Philippines, Inc., Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation, Aboitiz Foods Group, PHINMA Araullo University, and Vitarich Corporation, among many others.

Through initiatives like this, CLSU continues to strengthen its commitment to career development, industry collaboration, and employment opportunities for every CLSUan.

HAPPENING NOW | Around 2,600 graduating students of Central Luzon State University gather today, May 13, 2026, at the University Auditorium for the Pre-Employment Seminar and Labor Education organized by the Office of Student Affairs through the Career Development and Employment Services.

The seminar aims to prepare future graduates for the realities of the professional world through insightful discussions on career readiness, workplace ethics, labor education, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

Distinguished speakers include Dr. Jayson L. Marzan on โ€œGoal Settingโ€; Ms. Arwine M. Ramirez on โ€œResume Writing and Preparing for an Interviewโ€; Mr. Zoren T. NEWS | Strengthening Partnerships for Community Welfare and Mental Health Support

Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), in collaboration with the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension, formally conducted the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony with its valued partner stakeholders โ€” the Science City of Muรฑoz OFW Federation (SCMOF) and Tahanan ng Banal na Awa (TBA).

This meaningful partnership reflects CLSUโ€™s commitment through the ๐‚๐‹๐’๐” ๐‚.๐€.๐‘.๐„.๐’. initiative โ€” Cultivating Awareness, Resilience, Empowerment, and Support โ€” which aims to promote psycho-social support, mental health awareness, counseling services, capacity-building seminars, and community-based interventions for children, OFW families, and communities across Nueva Ecija.

Present during the ceremony were Dr. Emmanuel M. Vera Cruz, Vice President for Research and Extension, representing University President Dr. Evaristo Abella, and Dr. Irene G. Bustos, Dean of Student Affairs.

Also present were stakeholder representatives Ms. Anita De Guzman, President of the Science City of Muรฑoz OFW Federation (SCMOF), together with their Auditor, Ms. Reona G. Dumaya; and Rev. Fr. Ricardo N. Pangilinan, Jr., Director of Tahanan ng Banal na Awa (TBA), accompanied by Sister Catherine D. Ba-A, Residential Social Worker.

The event was likewise attended by OSA Faculty members, Bernadette O. Binayug, OSA Extension Coordinator, Dr. Jayson Marzan, Anak at Kapamilya ng OFW (AKO) Focal Person, OSA staff, and other guests.

Through this partnership, CLSU, TBA, and SCMOF continue to strengthen collaborative efforts toward inclusive development, compassion, resilience, and community empowerment in service of the people and communities they serve.
