PNA Nueva Vizcaya Chapter Successfully Concludes 76th Founding Anniversary and 34th Annual Local Convention
Solano, Nueva Vizcaya — November 29, 2025.

The Philippine Nurses Association – Nueva Vizcaya Chapter proudly marked another milestone with the successful celebration of its 76th Founding Anniversary and 34th Annual Local Convention, held at the RL Resort Function Hall, Barangay San Luis, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

With the theme “Innovate, Advocate, Transform: The Novo Vizcayano Nurse’s Blueprint for Advancing Health, Empowering Communities, and Shaping a Resilient World in the Face of Change,” this year’s convention brought together nursing professionals, leaders, educators, students, and key stakeholders committed to advancing the nursing profession and strengthening community resilience.

The one-day event featured a series of inspiring discussions led by distinguished speakers who shared invaluable perspectives on public health, healthcare transformation, policy advocacy, the pivotal role of nurses in driving evidence-based practice and patient-centered care, and the benefits and programs under the Employees’ Compensation Commission. Their contributions provided participants with fresh insights and renewed motivation to lead positive change within their respective fields.

The convention also served as a platform to reinforce camaraderie, celebrate professional accomplishments, and honor individuals who have significantly contributed to nursing development in the province.

PNA Nueva Vizcaya Officers Participate in Training for Municipal Civil Society Organizations

Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya — November 4–5, 2025. Representatives from the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Nueva Vizcaya Chapter actively participated in the Training for Municipal Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Local Special Bodies held at Ammungan Hall, Capitol Compound, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The two-day training, spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), aims to strengthen the participation and engagement of accredited civil society organizations in local governance, ensuring that people’s voices are represented in development planning and policy formulation.

Representing the PNA Nueva Vizcaya Chapter were Past PNA Region II Governor Leticia Puguon (Trainor) Incumbent President Imelda Bangloy (Trainor), Treasurer Alma Miguela Bacsa, and Board of Director Member Ericson Basilio. Their attendance underscores the association’s commitment to active collaboration with government institutions and other civil society groups in promoting health advocacy, professional development, and community service.

During the sessions, participants were oriented on the roles and responsibilities of CSOs in Local Special Bodies (LSBs), accreditation processes, and strategies for effective participation in local decision-making. PNA Nueva Vizcaya Chapter President Joins Regional Capacity Development Training for CSOs

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – September 23–26, 2025 — Ms. Imelda M. Bangloy, President of the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Nueva Vizcaya Chapter, represented the PNA-NV at the “Training of Trainers for Provincial Training Teams on the Conduct of Capacity Development Program for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Local Special Bodies (LSBs),” held at Villa Blanca Hotel, Tuguegarao City.

Organized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the four-day training aimed to strengthen the role of CSOs in participatory governance by equipping provincial leaders with the tools and knowledge to facilitate localized capacity-building initiatives. The event gathered key stakeholders from various sectors, fostering collaboration and shared commitment to inclusive development.

Davao City, Philippines – October 23, 2025 — The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) – Nueva Vizcaya Chapter proudly received its Certificate of Reaccreditation during the 103rd Foundation Anniversary of the PNA and the 68th Nurses’ Week Celebration, with the theme “Innovate, Advocate, Transform: The Nurses' Blueprint for a Changing World.” The event was held from October 21 to 23, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City.

The prestigious recognition reaffirms the chapter’s compliance with PNA national standards and its unwavering commitment to excellence, leadership, and service among nurses in the province of Nueva Vizcaya. This reaccreditation marks another significant milestone in the chapter’s continuous efforts to strengthen professional growth, uphold nursing ethics, and promote unity within the nursing community.
