Funny thing about building a practice around crossroads: occasionally, life decides to hand you one. 🗝️

So, I’m taking the hint.

Maybe this is the nudge I needed to stop building so much of Galerie Rberry on one little corner of the internet...and start making the world around it bigger. 🌎

(Funny- I asked Lady H for growth in yesterday's rit...and here we are 🫣 Have to work on it daw )

I don’t know yet what happens to this account. What I do know is that Galerie does not begin or end with IG.

The work continues.
The website stays open.
I’m still here.
And apparently, we’re opening a few more roads. 🌻

Who is Hekate, you might ask?

She is an ancient goddess of crossroads, thresholds, keys, torches, and the spaces in between. She has also been one of the strongest anchors in my own practice for years.

But working with Hekate, at least for me, has never been about being handed certainty.

It has been about learning how to see more clearly when the road splits.

How to question without losing reverence.
How to choose without waiting for permission.
How to face difficulty without assuming devotion should make me exempt from it.

So this is not a guide to Hekate, and I am not speaking for her.

These are simply eight things my own relationship with her has taught me about discernment, responsibility, choice, devotion, and power.

Because sometimes the magic is not in being shown the way.

Sometimes it is in becoming someone who can choose one.

If you work with Hekate too, I’d love to know what she has taught you.

If you came here to tell me witchcraft is evil, that I am suffering because of my “sins,” that God can still forgive me, that I need to repent, or how a woman should dress, speak, behave or believe—I have wonderful news:

I have clients who are deeply devoted Catholics, Christians, and people of other faiths. I have read for them, created for them, held space for them, and respected how they understand God and the sacred.

And you know what the good ones have never done?

They have NEVER asked me to become them.

They don't ask me to abandon my gods. I don't ask them to abandon theirs. That is mutual respect.

I was raised Catholic. I know the faith you're trying to preach to me. I simply found my own faith, my practice, and my strength in places the Church told me not to look.

That is personal. That is sacred. AND THAT IS MINE.

I have my own gods, my own spiritual relationships, my own altar, and my own understanding of the sacred. But I will never shove any of it down your throat.

EVERYTHING done in this house IS DONE WITH CONSENT. People come because they choose to. They stay because they choose to. And they are free to leave.

So when you enter my space to correct me, convert me, frighten me with hell, shame my practice, or tell me what a woman should believe, wear, say, or do...understand this:

I am not doing that to you so hell no do not do it to me.

Your faith is yours. My practice is mine.

Galerie RBerry was never built to create blind followers. I don't need you to believe everything I believe. Come because something here speaks to you. Stay while it serves you. Leave when it doesn't.

But if your only reason for being here is to save me?

Save your energy.

I am not lost. I am not waiting to be saved. I chose this path with open eyes.

SCOTIA - Safe Passage Through Darkness

Darkness is not always danger. Sometimes, it simply means that you cannot see the whole road yet.

SCOTIA is devoted to Hekate Scotia, the Dark One, who moves confidently through twilight, night, mystery, and the unseen.

Created for safe passage through dark, unfamiliar, or spiritually active territory, it is a particularly good ritual companion during August’s Ghost Month. Coming back is not the same as going backward.

Sometimes, we step away because something has ended. Sometimes, because we are tired.
And sometimes, because the version of us who first entered the room is no longer the person meant to return to it.
