Sometimes, what looks like forgetfulness, procrastination, impulsivity, or emotional struggles in children may be connected to developing executive function skills.

These skills can be taught, practiced, and strengthened over time. Understanding them can help parents respond with greater patience, support, and understanding.

Learn more about how to develop and strengthen these skills! Join our upcoming webinar for parents and educators this October 17 (Saturday), entitled “GROWING IN FOCUS, BUILDING SKILLS: How to Build Up and Strengthen Children’s Executive Functioning at Home” from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN.

Our speakers are Teacher Tina Zamora, PhD and Erica Kimberly King, RPsy. This event is in collaboration with Teacher Tina and Health Cube Medical Clinics.

There’s often more beneath the conflict.

Sometimes, relationship struggles go deeper than communication. Couples Therapy can help you understand recurring patterns, unresolved hurts, and what may be affecting your relationship.

At We Thrive, Couples Therapy provides a structured and confidential clinical space where couples can explore what’s beneath recurring conflict, disconnection, and relational distress with the guidance of psychologists who are trained and who specialize in couples therapy.

It’s not about finding a quick fix or deciding who is right or wrong. It’s about understanding what’s happening, working through it, and creating meaningful change together.

If you and your partner feel stuck in the same patterns and are ready to explore what’s underneath, Couples Therapy at We Thrive can be a place to start.

Children feel safe when they know they are loved, understood, and cared for.

Building a child’s sense of safety doesn’t always require big gestures. Sometimes, it’s in the little things we do every day - offering choices, listening to their feelings, preparing them for changes, and showing affection.

Every responsive, loving moment helps your child build trust, confidence, and a sense of security. And when children feel safe and secure, they have a stronger foundation to grow, explore, and thrive

✨ What’s one small way you can help your child feel safe and secure today?

Hope begins with connection.

For many young people, being heard without judgment, having a safe space to speak, and knowing that someone cares can make all the difference.

As adults, educators, mental health professionals, and communities, may we become pathways of hope for the young walking with them, listening with compassion, and reminding them that they do not have to face their struggles alone.

Let’s create spaces where young people feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

How can we better care for the whole person in medical practice?

As doctors and medical practitioners, we care for patients whose physical symptoms may be connected to stress, emotional distress, or life experiences. Recognizing these connections helps us provide more understanding and holistic care.

Join us for the next Wellness Wednesdays session “Bridging Body and Mind: Mental Health Detection and Whole-Person Care in Medical Practice” with Dr. Joanna Herrera, RPsy, PsyD. This session is a joint initiative of We Thrive and Health Cube Medical Clinics.

This learning session is designed especially for physicians and medical practitioners who want to strengthen their ability to:

— RECOGNIZE mental health red flags
— RESPOND through screening and compassionate care
— REFER patients to appropriate mental health support

📅 September 16, 2026 (Wednesday)
⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Philippine Time)
💻 Online via Zoom

Is your child being “rude”, or trying to tell you something?

The eye rolls. The talking back. The dismissive responses. If you’re parenting a tween, you may be wondering what’s going on. But what if these behaviors aren’t simply about being “rude”?

As children grow, they’re also learning how to understand and express their emotions, navigate independence, and communicate their needs.

Instead of asking, “How do I stop this behavior?” try asking, “What might my child be trying to tell me?”
Responding with curiosity doesn’t mean letting disrespect slide. It means creating space to understand what’s underneath the behavior while still setting healthy boundaries.

Watch Teacher Tina Zamora and Jill Tan share practical approaches and parenting hacks for navigating the tween years.

Learn how to respond in ways that strengthen connection with your children.
